We got there at the break of dawn, just as the sun was rising. In the gardens, it hadn't yet peeked through the trees, but the morning air was still and the sky was clear, so conditions were perfect as we awaited it's appearance.
Ashley and Michael met while in college when they began dating Michael's last year in school. After spending some time long distance, Michael finally moved back to Atlanta and the rest has been written in history! These two have the kindest spirits -- they're so honest with one another in the way they interact and, for them, wearing their emotions the way they did and really opening their hearts to me during our time together became something of second nature.
The dawn broke, and the sun spilled out through the trees as we made our way through the gardens, chatting, laughing -- it was a morning I so love because it was a quiet reminder of why I adore what I have the opportunity to do. There was no one else there but us and I really had the chance to get to know these sweet people on a level I wouldn't have otherwise been able to. I'm not, by nature, a morning person, but this particular morning had me feeling refreshed and invigorated and it just renewed my love for what I have been blessed enough to call my career.
Our time has me looking that much more forward to their Georgian Terrace wedding next May! Such a blessing to know you two! <3
