There's a quote, "It takes hands to build a house, but it takes hearts to build a home".  It took no time at all after stepping foot into this home to feel a welcome unlike any I've ever felt after being invited to someone's home.  It's a space where the walls hold memories and, if they could talk, they would probably start with Leslie's younger life, growing up and visiting the home as it belonged to her grandparents.  Now, years later, a divine push moved this precious family out of the home they had made in Nashville, and back to the area to further build their lives together and continue the tradition of making memories to last a lifetime.

6 month old baby boy in the bouncer, his older brother excitedly showing me his new space and Leslie, a new "boy mom" of the two most precious little dudes, taking it all in with smile and grace.  And, of course, when Dusty gets home, it's all rough tickles, upside down flips and running around the yard.  It was that perfect harmony, forming and molding of a childhood for these boys that they will forever cherish.  There was a feeling of warmth that couldn't possibly be overlooked by anyone who step foot on their turf and it was the sweetest thing in the whole world for me to be able to capture it take it all in.

Leslie & Dusty are amazing photographers, so when they asked me to be a part of this, naturally, I was thrilled!  If I was "working", I didn't realize it, I was so driven by the gratitude this family has for one another and for the blessing to live between the walls that hold so much meaning for them already.  They're building a beautiful life here and I couldn't possibly be more in love with these film + digital captures of my time spent with them!  So much love all around and I am so grateful to have been a part!
