More than a few words come to mind when thinking back on this day.  Pensive, intimate, romantic... like something from a fairy tale.

JD and Lauren didn't know they were meant for each other when they first met at their brother's baseball games.  But, in time, they found their commonalities and pursued one another at which point, there was no question.  They're a beautiful complement of one another and the smiles on their faces that day said it all.

After a few rainy weekend, we were more than thrilled to have such a gorgeous space to work in that was full of nothing but light.  I spent most of the day with the girls as they prepared for the ceremony in a room that I was more than glad to use as a canvas for that time.  The soft, robin's egg blue of the walls really softened the images and I couldn't be more grateful for such a pretty space!  It truly is important to have a space that is full of natural light.  It's easy to opt for a hotel room for the getting ready portion of the day, but I urge my clients to think outside of the box .  Those images are some of the most intimate of the day, and the images captured during the time I spend with my brides and grooms before they walk down the aisle end up being the part of the day I love the most!  I so loved spending the day with these two and their sweet families at Mason Farm at River's Edge!  These were some of my favorite film captures to date!

A special thanks to those involved in helping to make the day so lovely!
