THE MISHRAS | INDIAN-ARAB FUSION WEDDING AT ATLANTA'S BILTMORE BALLROOMS | ATLANTA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
For these Amanda and Pankaj, it's about trust. Remember their engagement session last summer? They walked in step, crossing through rushing water and over slippery stones. They were hand in hand the entire time, he watching her carefully as she made each thoughtful step toward the next dry foothold.
Their day tells a story of two individuals with an incredibly strong bond and a love for each other that conquers the unknown. The uncharted territory before them has been and will always be something they are going to cross through together, hand in hand, watching one another's steps and always supporting each other in any difficulty that the waters ahead may bring.
Regardless of the pace (or how ready we are, for that matter), life is constantly moving. It moves like subtle streams and like rushing rapids, and without notice. If you're in it, though, and you have a love like that, without condition, it's all okay. Everything about these two together is good. It made my heart so happy to be there to see Amanda and Pankaj through on a day that was, truly, a celebration.
Their day was a reflection of both of their heritages, incorporating some of the beautiful color of the traditional Indian celebrations (and again - HENNA!! My favorite!), along with traditional dances and belly dancers of her Arab background. It was a seamless fusion of them both and it really spoke to the way that they will approach their future together - with respect for where each of them comes from and a celebration for where they are heading.
