2016 -- a year of growth, of learning, of settling in a bit. When I look back, it was so incredibly full of opportunity and travelling, and truly setting out on the path that my heart desires to go. I have been BLESSED with the most incredible, kind, open and honest people to work with this year, and in sifting through hundreds of thousands of images, it's 100% evident that the reason this year has been so spectacular and so notable is because of those who allowed me to tell their story in photographs. They, in turn, helped me to write my own. I am forever grateful for those of you who have been my cheerleaders, friends, and who have made up my growing family.
Highlights for this year:
- Travelling up and down the East coast
- Opening up my ALLISON PEDIGO Print Shop after years of the idea setting my heart on fire
- Being invited to photograph the cover editorial for The Golden Isles Bride Magazine -- coming SOON!! 😍
- Being the eyes for 15 incredible couples as they started out on their journey of a lifetime, and 20+ families and individuals who entrusted me to tell their story
- Participating in the Golden Isles Bridal Show, and meeting SO many incredibly talented industry professionals in the Jekyll Island, Sea Island, Brunswick and St. Simon's area
- Animal photobombs. Lots of them.
As hindsight is 20/20, I've put together a whole bunch of my favorite memories, behind the scenes shots and, of course, some of the best blooper moments. Because real life happens in between those precious captures and, sometimes, real life is a mess to be celebrated.
From the bottom of my heart -- THANK YOU ALL for your support over the years! And thank you to all of those who played such an integral role in making 2016 so unforgettable. I have so much love for all of you and I can not WAIT for all that 2017 has to offer!

-- I WAS ABLE TO PUT TOGETHER A PERSONAL PIECE BORN OF MY OWN CREATIVITY THIS YEAR, WITH THE HELP OF THE ALPHARETTA FLOWER MARKET, ENGELHEIM VINEYARDS AND MY DEAR FRIEND WHITNEY AND HER PUP, LUCY. THE THEME WAS A GERMAN BRIDAL INSPIRATION, TIED TOGETHER BY THE PANTONE COLOR OF THE YEAR LAST YEAR, SERENITY BLUE. THE MAJORITY OF THE SHOOT WAS PHOTOGRAPHED WITH MEDIUM FORMAT FILM AND I ADORE THE WAY IT TURNED OUT! --
-- I had the chance to work with this pretty girl in 2016 as she's started up her photography business! I've found a new love in teaching others and, in turn, being able to watch them grow. Miss Sarah is set out to do some absolutely incredible things and make people extremely happy! --
