There's snow on the ground outside, and It's just like a Southern girl to see snow and long for the beach, no? It's all well and good, and don't get me wrong -- I love watching my pups tromp and play in that illusive, powdery goodness -- but there's just something about that salty air and fresh, ocean breeze that calls to me.
It has been a couple of years since we decided to make a leap in to the Golden Isles market and I can't begin to tell you how kind, receptive and warm the people are there. And ever since, I've been invited in to the lives of several of my clients who love that Georgia coast just as much as I do.
I had been planning out a session with miss Christina and Kyle for weeks, and after opting for the mountains, she reached out (completely unprompted) to say how they had been thinking that Jekyll Island was a place they so loved, could I travel? Low and behold, I would be in St. Simon's that following weekend, so of course with an act of fate, it all worked out, and we found ourselves shooting amongst that dreamy Spanish moss at the incredible Jekyll Club and Driftwood Beach, checking off two items from my professional bucket list and, all the while, taking in that refreshing, ocean air with these two sweethearts and their furbaby, Diesel. And, oh. It was all the things. [Hearts in eyes].
Christina and Kyle met years ago, and there would be nothing that could keep them apart. They became friends and quickly began growing in their love, and after several years they decided to tie the knot in the mountains of North Georgia in October of this year, which for me, can't get here soon enough!
Meet Christina and Kyle -- two incredibly genuine, precious souls who couldn't possibly see one another with anything but the most honest, caring and romantic eyes imaginable -- which I so love, because it showed in every single image. These two are romance at it's finest! I love their love and am so grateful for this time spent with them!
